La Ferme Farm Fun Day Raises £26,000

RNLI Jersey was delighted to be chosen as one of the charities for La Ferme Farm Fun Day, alongside Jersey Child Care Trust.
Organised by a committee comprising members of the Perchand family and friends, staff from the Royal Jersey Agricultural & Horticultural Society, Jersey Dairy and members of Rotary Club De La Manche, the event was held in perfect weather and was a huge success.
Around 4,000 people visited the farm, taking the opportunity to look round and enjoy a range of stalls, live music, games and other attractions on offer - including the lifeguards jet ski which was very popular!
On Tuesday evening we were invited back to the farm and presented with a cheque. An outstanding total of £26,000 was raised and will be split between both charities.
We loved being part of this wholesome event, it’s not often that you get to mix lifeboats with farms but it was such a pleasure to spend the day at the farm.
