At 9.17am today the St Helier ILB was paged to help locate a possible person in the water from a Kayak near West Park, St Helier. The St Helier ILB was afloat 9 minutes after the page and proceeded to the West Park area where Jersey Coastguard coordinated search was performed along with Jersey Fire & Rescue Services and also aided by the Channel Chiefton V (from IRIS Freight).

The St Helier ILB was tasked with a shoreline search from West Park to Bel Royal, then along to St Aubin's and south along the coast to Pignonet before being stood down at 10.20am.

The St Helier ILB proceeded back to station and was made ready for service by 10.40am.
