Yesterday, the St Catherine’s inshore lifeboat was tasked to assist a broken down 15-foot fishing boat in Bouley Bay.

The initial report was that the vessel was drifting towards rocks and the crew onboard the Atlantic 85 lifeboat launched quickly to provide assistance.

On arrival, the crew located the casualty vessel and its two passengers who were in good spirits. The casualty vessel was towed in to Bouley Bay and the St Catherine’s lifeboat returned to the station and was made ready for the next service.
