This evening at 17:59 the RNLI Lifeguards Jersey at St Ouens were tasked by Jersey Coastguard to rescue a casualty, 100m out to sea, that was struggling to make it back to shore against tidal current at La Pulente.

The team quickly responded and lifeguard Anders located the casualty and paddled out to her, Luna an 8yr old dog, and assisted in shepherding her back to her relieved owner waiting on the shore.
