RNLI Jersey Lifeboat Crews

St Catherine's Lifeboat Crew have re-branded their page to bring together all RNLI Jersey crew activity onto one Facebook page.

This is in line with the new operational management structure which has been put in place. The new structure builds on the decades of local operations experience to allow for much greater co-ordination between the two Jersey stations than was previously possible.

Heading up the Lifeboat Operations team is Nigel Sweeny, the former Lifeboat Operations Manager (LOM) from St Catherine’s Lifeboat Station. Nigel has over 40 years’ experience with the RNLI, both as crew (22 years, including 14 as senior helm) and in a management capacity.

Nigel is supported by Deputy Launch Authorities from both St Helier and St Catherine's stations, who have over 45 years' lifeboat operations experience between them, as well as a local training manager and press officer. We'll share more details on the structure in due course.

Thank you to everyone for their support over the last few months from all of the RNLI Jersey lifeboat operations management and crew.
