The St Catherine’s lifeboat launched earlier this afternoon to a medical emergency on Les Écréhous. 

A tour boat skipper had called Jersey Coastguard to report a person suffering from a seizure. The crew arrived on scene approximately 10 minutes after launching and two casualty care trained crew members went ashore to assess the casualty. Once it was determined the casualty was stable, they were placed onboard the lifeboat and taken to St Catherine’s slipway to a waiting ambulance.
