I joined RNLI originally in 2004 as a DLA and have held that role since, with a short break between 2018 and 2020. I spent 32 years at sea in the Merchant Navy, 14 as Captain in local waters. I also have 17 years as a deputy harbour master and pilot in St Helier but am now retired. I want to give something back and share my extensive knowledge of local waters.
